Each week, your child will create and experiment in our relaxed and inspiring environment. Unlike other arts programs, our program doesn’t teach children to copy a sample. We encourage trial and error as students embark on their own projects, helping them discover what they truly like- while building creativity, resilience, and self-awareness. They also develop practical skills rarely taught in school - like calculating measurements for weaving, designing patterns for sewing, and improving their hand skills through hands-on work.

Students can choose from multiple creative projects, including belts, hats, bags, pillows, stuffed animals, accessories, garments, and tapestries, and can complete multiple projects in each semester. Classes are designed to integrate weaving, spinning, felting, dyeing, sewing, and needlework. Zen Weaving will be an enriching addition to your young artist's education to learn the value of their own individuality with others.

2-Semester System
Tuition: $960 per semester (16 classes)

Fall Semester:
September 4, 2025 – January 30, 2026

Spring Semester:
February 3, 2026 – June 26, 2026

Each semester includes 16 classes (1.5 hours each) to be completed within the semester period.

Classes can be scheduled on a recurring weekday, Tuesday–Friday, from 4:00–5:30 pm at either our UES or DUMBO studios.

AGES: For children ages 8–14

CLASS SIZE: Maximum of 6 students

MAKE UP CLASSES

• Missed classes are non-refundable
• Make-ups available within the same semester only

ADDITIONAL CLASSES

• $60 per class during the same semester

MID SEMESTER REGISTRATION

• New students may join if space is available
• Tuition can be prorated

DISCOUNTS

• Sibling Discount: 5% off each additional child

ENROLLMENT

1. Read our Studio Policies page before signing your child up for class.
2. Complete the form below.
3. If your preferred day is full, we may ask you to choose another day.
4. Once your class is confirmed, we will email you a confirmation and an invoice.
5. Your enrollment is complete—and you are considered to have agreed to our policies - once full payment has been received.

REFUND POLICY

• Tuition is non-refundable after the first class begins
• Cancellations before August 30: full refund minus $50 processing fee
• Discounted tuition is non-refundable
• Exceptions for serious illness, family emergency, or relocation (case-by-case; prorated refund or credit may be offered)
• This class package is not transferrable to other classes.
