Kakishibu is the traditional Japanese dye/paint of deep amber color that has been fermented and aged for more than 2 years from unripe persimmon astringent. Kakishibu dyeing is very easy. Just apply directly or dilute with water. No fixer needed. By the time, the dyed color changes deeper by oxidation of tannin.
