Departing from the ordinary Nuno-felting technique which makes a thick woolen sheet, I explored the fabric with a unique texture utilizing the shrinking property of wool and the beauty of multi-layered colors entangling fine natural fibers and fabric. 

The process is reminiscent of the Japanese folkcraft Boro, where instead of stitching, I used felting to join the pieces. I dyed the sheer silk chiffon with three shades of Aijo Indigo and arranged the cut pieces. This lightweight soft scarf is reversible and wrinkle-free.
