Advanced Packages

“I want to weave more!!” Whether you want to create an artistic tapestry or make clothes out of your own colorful woven cloth, your project goals are unlimited! Students of Advanced Classes can weave on a preset black warp or customize a color warp and use our sewing machine and SAORI clothing patterns. You will receive individual consultation and project guidance.

Prerequisite: At least one Beginner Session.

  • Advanced session for children and adults ages 8 and up.

  • Outside materials are not permitted. Material cost will be charged after completing your weaving. $5 per oz.

  • Sewing supplies and notions will be at a cost. (eg. interfacing, stuffing, zipper, etc.)

 

4 Session Package

Learn the basics of warping, finishing, and completing a scarf, tapestry, or table runner, etc. Explore the weaving on your own warp set.

$200 / 4 x 2-hour sessions
(Must be used within 6 weeks of purchasing the package.)

8 Session Package

Make any combination of the above, a large tapestry, or projects involving sewings, like a bag, pillowcase, basic clothing, and more.

$350 / 8 x 2-hour sessions
(Must be used within 12 weeks of purchasing the package.)

12 Session Package

Challenge yourself to more advanced garments, sculptures, accessories, tapestries, and beyond! Explore SAORI weaving deeply with your own warp set.

$500 / 12 x 2-hour sessions
(Must be used within 16 weeks of purchasing the package.)

Project-based Class

Enjoy weaving and make a unique project from your woven piece. Choose a project based on your experience and skill level. Each session is a 2-hour class.

  • Projects for children and adults ages 8 and up.

  • The number of sessions is a guide. Depending on the student’s weaving speed and sewing skill, you may finish 30-60 minutes.

  • Extending the session to finish work can be added by $15 per 30 minutes.

  • Prerequisite: a Beginner Class
